A Customer Review from MedjetAssist

Travel insurance carriers will often share stories of their customers’ experiences in a newsletter.  Included in the November newsletter from MedjetAssist was a story of a couple traveling in Israel that needed medical treatment and wanted to be evacuated back to the United States.  The following is the customer review from their newsletter.

Two weeks ago, my husband fell while we were in Israel. He needed surgery to repair torn quadriceps on BOTH feet. We wanted the surgery in New York, near to our home. Medjet made this possible in an efficient and soothing way. They stepped up [and arranged] to get us back to the United States. Within 72 hours of the fall, the surgery was complete and my husband was on his way to recovery.

Thank you Medjet for assisting in this huge “leap”. Without you, I shudder to think what the end would have been to this stressful time in our lives.

MedjetAssist transports members without regard to medical necessity. Members who are hospitalized may choose to be transported to a hospital of their choice.
